 When you are promoting your business locally, you probably might think of using pens. Using promotional pens is a great idea as long as you do it right. It is hard to make your pens noticeable in a good way. You always want your pens to be classy and not an eye sore. You want to stay away from colors like yellow, brown, lime green and orange.  There are three issues that would come with designing your promotional pens. This is of course, the coloring, lettering and the physical shaping of the pen itself. All of these characteristics are equally important and all work together to complete the pens "success".

 The color of the pen is the main characteristic to keep the pen appealing to the eye and grab the persons attention. A brighter color pen may become an eye sore while a pen with a vibrant tone to it may be attractable.

 The lettering that is placed on the promotional pens must be easy to read and not a blob or used with a color which doesn't blend well with the main color of the pen.

 The physical style of the pen itself is also very important. Whether it be a classic ballpoint pen, or a newer roller ball pen style, the type of pen that you offer your clients really changers their thoughts of your company. The quality of the pen itself by its physical display is very important as it will change what people think of the pen itself and the pen is supposed to be a display of what your business has to offer. Providing junk pens will make your company look bad but providing very classy pens will make your company more attractive.
